Harry Potter Is Becoming a TV Series for the First Time
Rather than remaking the entire story as another series of movies, HBO is adapting Harry Potter as a television series.

The plan is for subsequent seasons to continue adapting the Harry Potter books, giving the creative team significantly more screen time than the original movies had available.
