24 Jump Street Countdown

24 Jump Street continues the undercover cop franchise adapted from the 1980s television series. Following 21 Jump Street (2012) and 22 Jump Street (2014), the narrative maintains the series' signature meta humor and self-referential style. Development on a third entry spanned over a decade, during which an earlier concept involving a crossover with the Men in Black franchise was conceived and eventually scrapped. The title skips past 23 to honor a running joke from the end credits of the second film, which presented a montage of fictitious future assignments ranging from culinary school to outer space. Phil Lord and Chris Miller, who directed the first two entries, return to produce the project alongside Neal H. Moritz, Reid Carolin, and Matt Dines, with Meghan Malloy co-writing the script.
