Reality Fracture introduces the Echoverse, an alternate reality constructed by Jace Beleren under his identity as the Theorist. Built as a perfected Multiverse devoid of major historical villains such as Nicol Bolas, the Eldrazi, and Phyrexia, the Echoverse threatens to overwrite the true Multiverse. This forces Chandra Nalaar and Jace's former allies to battle against his overarching design.
The set emphasizes parallel-reality versions of iconic characters and spells. Booster packs contain echoed pairs of cards, shattered mirror treatments, and borderless variants. Collector Boosters also offer a chance at opening serialized throwback full-art Bloodline Recollector headliner cards, which are limited to 500 English-language copies illustrated by Mark Poole.
