Afterworld To Be Announced

Set roughly a century after a devastating future war destroyed an advanced human civilization, Afterworld places players in a procedurally generated North American wasteland. Players begin with specific faction Origins, such as shelterfolk exiting a failing nuclear bunker or zealots wandering the dustlands, and guide their initial tribe toward constructing a continent-spanning empire. Gameplay combines grand strategy with survival and settlement management mechanics. Players manage resource gathering, supply lines, population health, and internal governance while adapting to environmental threats in real time. Development progresses through a dynamic system that unlocks new concepts based on exploration and real-world encounters. As borders expand across the continent, nations interact with rival tribes and face the Ancients, immortal pre-war leaders who maintain their own competing visions for the future.
