Battlefield 6: Top Gun Countdown

The Battlefield 6 Top Gun Update launches August 18, bringing a major new wave of Season 4 content centered around air, naval, and large-scale combined-arms warfare. Wake Island returns! Reimagined for Battlefield 6 with carrier-based HQs and expanded combat across land, sea, and air. The update also introduces two new Top Gun-inspired experiences: Carrier Strike, where teams battle to destroy the enemy carrier, and Fighter Sweep, a new REDSEC Gauntlet mission focused on jet combat and objectives. New hardware includes the Interdictor sniper rifle and two new two-seat jets: the F/A-81F Super Spectre and F-74A Seacat. Battle Royale also receives the USS Grant crashed-carrier POI at Fort Lyndon, featuring higher-value loot and launching as a High Value Zone. The update also brings gameplay improvements, new Portal capabilities, Tsuru Reef support for custom experiences, and Custom Lobbies and Spectator Mode arriving through Battlefield Labs.
