Epitome is a free-to-play fantasy MMORPG built in Unreal Engine 5. Set in a universe shaped by powerful beings known as Archons, players attempt to ascend to Archon status across three vertical layers: the subterranean Nether, the surface world of Terra, and the floating Aether sky islands. Players select between two permanent factions, Arya or Zetia, and choose from gender-locked starting classes such as Warrior, Ninja, Necromancer, Shaman, and Elementalist.
The game integrates AI systems to manage NPC dialogue, merchant negotiations, and playstyle-tailored quest chains. Built on proprietary server technology, the infrastructure is designed to support more than 33,000 players on a single server without sharding. Gameplay combines open-world exploration, mob grinding, gear enhancement systems, dungeons, faction combat, and dynamic map events such as falling monoliths that unleash monsters and high-value loot.
The project was crowdfunded via Kickstarter in early 2026, raising over 500,000 euros from more than 20,000 backers to support ongoing development.
