Rebuilt from the ground up on Unreal Engine 5, Halo: Campaign Evolved revisits the story of Master Chief and his AI companion Cortana following their crash landing on the mysterious ringworld Alpha Halo. In addition to the overhauled original campaign featuring re-recorded dialogue, motion-capture animations, and an updated soundtrack, the title introduces three new prequel missions focused on Sergeant Avery Johnson. Additions to gameplay include nine extra weapons such as the Energy Sword and Battle Rifle, vehicle hijacking, drivable Wraith tanks, a fourth seat on the Warthog, and 42 gameplay-modifying Skulls.
