Set during the twilight of the Clone Wars era, the single-player campaign follows Hawks, a customizable former Republic officer leading an unconventional covert mercenary squad. Zero Company is recruited for a covert operation against The Infinite Coil, a Separatist-aligned paramilitary cult led by Kundri Fathom that poses a major threat to the galaxy.
Players command a team featuring a variety of character archetypes, including scoundrels, astromech droids, clone troopers, Mandalorians, and a Jedi. Tactical turn-based encounters require using environmental hazards and specialized skills against enemy forces. Between missions, players return to a base of operations to adjust equipment, tailor appearances, and refine combat specializations, developing deeper squad synergies as operatives deploy together.
