When a silent, eccentric vendor begins driving his colorful truck through a peaceful suburban town during summer vacation, he serves local children sugary treats with strange names and alarming side effects. The frozen delights quickly turn the town's youth into violent, aggressive killers who begin attacking adults and taking over their school. A small group of kids who did not eat the ice cream, including a boy named Jared who skipped the treats due to being lactose intolerant, are left to survive the sudden outbreak of madness.
