DJI Osmo 360 II Released

The Osmo 360 II is a second-generation panoramic camera designed for high-resolution 360-degree video capture. Built around a square chassis and 1-inch-class imaging sensors, the camera upgrades performance to native 8K video at up to 60 frames per second. It introduces user-replaceable lenses protected by an ion sputtering coating, resolving a major durability concern from the first-generation hardware. The camera incorporates 105GB of built-in storage alongside a microSD expansion slot. Imaging capabilities include up to 14.5 stops of dynamic range, AI Super Night Scene 2.0 recording in 8K60, 4K single-lens recording at 120fps, and panoramic slow motion up to 4K at 240fps. It also features NFC support for faster device pairing and media transfers, as well as an automated subject-tracking mode that exports flat 4K clips at 30fps through mobile and desktop software. Power is supplied by a 2,150 mAh cold-resistant battery designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -4 F to 113 F (-20 C to 45 C). The camera achieves up to 100 minutes of continuous 8K30 recording or 120 minutes in its long battery life mode. It also maintains backward compatibility with older 1,950 mAh and 1,770 mAh action camera battery packs.
